Chants for Sports Day! :)

Ok 5P we have a task on our hands… as you know it is Sports Day very soon and we need to make sure we are prepared.

I was thinking that we could create some chants (like short rhymes/songs) to cheer our class on as they are completing the different events. That way we can make sure we win! :) Here you can write down all of the chants but remember not to make them too long and make sure they are catchy so they are easy to learn, then we can look at them in class and learn them together! Also remember to keep coming in with those sports day banner designs so we can choose on Monday the winning design ready to start on the banner.

One last thing… remember the radio show on Friday that Mr Hughes and Mr Alders hosted, they said they would be looking at the blogs and inviting some members from a class to talk about their blog. It could be you…

Summer Fayre Ideas

Hi guys, some exciting news…

For the school summer fayre this year all year 5 and 6 classes will have the opportunity to create one stall of their own where we will be able to design and decide what exactly we want to sell. Each class will be able to create posters/advertisements for their stall and two children from the class will be responsible for running the stall (selling the items and dealing with the money!) This is a very exciting opportunity so if you have any ideas 5P for what we could sell on our stall then you can write them here and I will be sure to have a look at your ideas and choose the best one! :)

Who’s excited for West Midlands Safari Park?

Here you can find out who is actually going on the trip and also maybe answer these questions: What you can’t wait for? Who you are going with? What rides are you planning on going on?

I know I am looking forward to going on the last school summer trip with my class that I have at the moment (5p 2011)

Miss Peers :)

Lining Up Winners!

Well done 5P, we came first in the lining up for year 5 which meant that we had a lovely trophy to place in our classroom on the interest table.

We also had the amazing chance to have some fun on the bouncy castle, even I had a go! It was fantastic!

I would also like to say well done 5P for winning the PE behaviour points too! Lets hope everyone will be behaving their best this term too.

:)
